Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to create a great first impression on buyers before they step foot into your home. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers create their first thoughts about your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this assists us in deciding what actions we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with touched up paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Touring your home from a buyer's view, I'll suggest adjustments that improve market appeal.
I'll suggest that you eliminate things that give the appearance of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get stored away too. We'll simplify the decor of house. Less than inviting or busy spaces make your home feel unkempt and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves living there.
Every area gets a once-over. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that could use polishing, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively affect the sale.
With me by your side, you'll know that your home has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, avoiding "loud" or "can't-work-with" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about temporary furniture. The goal is for your home to look lived in as opposed to vacated.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when it's time to show your house, because all of the changes come together to set the stage for what buyers can envision when they consider buying your house. Brightness is important and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a pleasing fragrance flows room-to-room. We'll make use of cozy-looking bedspreads, and pillows on your chairs and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current place has the potential to be. |
